Camp Cachalot
offers a balanced summer camp program. Earning merit badges that may not
be easily earned at home is only one part of camp. It is extremely
important for the Scouts, and their leaders, to enjoy the activities and
challenges around camp.
History shows
that if a Scout thinks that summer camp is only a place to earn merit
badges then they are missing out on so much more. They would be missing
out on exciting trips, new friends, new opportunities, amazing sights, and
some wonderful memories.
Your Camp
staff is enthusiastic and works hard to encourage more troop activities to
build your Scouts' unity. It is through these and other activities that
teamwork will grow and flourish. Your Scouts will learn to work together
as well as with others.
